This is a melodramatic burlesque that contains enough real comedy ideas to make a four-reel picture. It is of the "ginger" class and every move is a (part of the) picture. The mix-up of the "yeggs," the police, the anarchists, bomb throwers and rubes keep the audience howling. How little Miss Fay Tincher, "The Heiress," survived it all is a miracle. This is a real burlesque melodrama. - The Moving Picture World, April 4, 1914
