This is a short animated film which I liked and disliked at the same time. First, what I liked. I thought that the animation style was truly unique--something you just don't see often enough in films. The watercolor look was nice and really set it apart from the hundreds of animations I've seen in recent years. The Emily Dickenson-like leading lady and her love were memorable. As for what I didn't like, the story itself seems secondary, at best. It seemed confusing and irrelevant and left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. But, on a purely aesthetic level, it was worth seeing and I am glad I did. In fact, I'd love to see more by the talented folks who made this.
