A middle-aged widow decides to follow a different lifestyle , instead of mourning her husband.
jimmydiles776 February 2005
The story of a wealthy widow, who after ten years of mourning her husband decides to follow a liberal lifestyle. This movie reflects the trend in Greek society of late 60's to go on to a less conservative lifestyle in a very humorous way with great performances. Vlahopoulou, holding the leading role, faces the opposition of her older sister and brother, who want to get her married to a rich very old man, while Vlahopoulou is only 40 years old. Of course she doesn't want this. She falls in love with a handsome musician who plays violin. She asks her close friend, performed by Zarokosta, to help her hide her relationship with the musician from her brother and sister. Finally, after many humorous scenes she leaves to Italy for vacations with the musician. A movie which makes one burst into laughter. Excellent comedy and excellent performances by the so-called "Lucille ball" of Greece, Mrs Rena Vlahopoulou. She is admired by the Greek audience and loved by many generations.
