The start of the new school year sees the return of Ms. MacKenzie as the grade 5 teacher for Sakura's class. With her return comes the Snow Card, covering the town in a thick layer of snow.
Shortly after Sakura notices an escaped Clow Card, the Voice Card takes Madison's voice while she rehearses for her upcoming choir performance. Li and Sakura visit their friend at home and find a way to bring out the card and capture it.
While picking berries at a strawberry farm, Sakura, Madison, Li, and Meilin get locked in the information centre. With a tip from Ms. MacKenzie, the four manage to escape and capture the Lock Card.
Sakura is sick when the Cloud Card starts a downpour in Readington. Using the Mirror Card to duplicate herself, she leaves the house to capture the escaped Clow Card. With the help of Li and Meilin, the card is sealed.
While Sakura and Li rehearse their lines for Sleeping Beauty, they are interrupted by the Sand Card. They must capture it before it drowns them in a whirlpool of sand.
A school play turns to darkness when all the light leaves the theatre, leaving Sakura stranded on stage. When she realizes that she can see herself despite the dark, she discovers the Clow Card within in her, and the other surrounding her.
Meilin plans to return home and is disappointed to learn that Li feels she didn't help him with capturing the Clow Cards. When the Twin Card shows up, Meilin learns her true value.
Sakura, Madison, and Li attend an archery competition to cheer on Julian. His final competition? Ms. MacKenzie. As the day winds down, the final Clow Card makes its appearance.
Sakura captures the final Clow Card, Earth. Kero regains his magical powers and returns to his true form. Yue finally arrives and tests the two card captors, beginning with Li. Upon his result, Sakura is called up to fight the judge.
Sakura faces Yue and the final judgment. With Clow Reed's final gift, Sakura is given a second chance and successfully overcomes Yue to become Master of the Clow Cards.
