A follow-up to 1992's Madstock, which is preferable, as far as the atmosphere is concerned. This was the first reunion gig after the band broke up eight years earlier.
ritics will of course argue the reunion gigs are only meant to pay mortgages and debts, but apparently the interest in the band is still substantial enough to fill Finsbury Park every now and then. And rightly so, since the songs haven't dated and they are as relevant now as they were twenty years ago.
If you have never experienced a Madness gig, watch this recording, enjoy Suggs's banter, Chas Smash's wacky dancing and the nutty sound of the rest of the band, and go out and buy one of the excellent compilation albums in the nearest record store, or their last record, 'Wonderful'. All aboard for the Madness nation!
