Would. You, Rather. Never have three little words represented such a massive ordeal. It used to be that the harmless game was classed as a more dignified version of Truth Or Dare, where nobody would have to take any clothes off and nobody would have to kiss anybody else under threat of force. But no more.
Now in the Internet era, devilish minds have changed the game completely, moving the goalposts and revelling in the need to push boundaries ever further and forcing your mind into the murkiest depths of morality. And never have those questions been harder than when your fandom is turned against you.
Even loving the Harry Potter world, and wanting to be part of the magical world can be spoiled by some fiendishly thought up Would You Rathers that only the most committed fans could have dreamt up. Prepare to have all of the...

Australians are continuing to desert free-to-air TV and to a lesser extent pay-tv.
Free-to-air viewing fell by 5% in the first 10 months of this year, including live viewing and time shifted viewing within a week of the initial broadcast. October viewing was down 4.2% on a year ago.
Pay-tv viewing was off by 2.2% according to OzTam data, although that does not factor in the growing proportion of people who watch Foxtel through other devices.
The Seven Network dominated the October ratings with a 42% share of all people boosted by The X Factor, Dancing with the Stars, The Blacklist and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Nine lost ground in October, its all people share slipping to 35% from 37% in September.
.Australia.s Got Talent performed adequately but was well beaten by X Factor, while Big Brother ratings have been materially down on last year,. Credit Suisse said in a briefing to clients.

It won’t be a development season if ABC, run by British-born Paul Lee, doesn’t adapt several UK formats. The network has put in development No Angels, a half-hour single-camera comedy based on the praised 2004 hourlong dramedy, which aired on Channel 4 for two seasons. Producing are Amblin TV and ABC Studios, partners on the new ABC drama series Lucky 7, also based on a British format. Written by Kat Likkel & John Hoberg (The Neighbors, My Name Is Earl), who will serve as showrunners, No Angels is about a raucous group of four female nurses working together and sharing the same house in a Bridesmaids-style girl gang comedy. British-born Julie Anne Robinson, who has helmed two episodes of the original series, is set to direct the potential pilot. She is executive producing with Likkel, Hoberg and Amblin’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank. Amblin’s portfolio includes series The Americans,...

Did Candice pull off a win? And did Adam Lambert pull off his mascara? (Yes.)
“Candice, why you gotta make this all about you?”
Look. You can pretend the Idol finale is some grandiose, tasteless, freakish spectacle. You can even think that logically. Because it’s true and undeniable and shut up about it. But you can’t deny that the Idol finale reminds you — for a few shimmery moments — that these competitors are viable mainstream singers whether or not they actually end up being successful. They can work alongside real industry vets and not look miscast in their shadows. I dig that — especially when some of the veterans (Mariah Carey and guest performer Jennifer Lopez, in this case) look less than professional as they lip-sync their hits (and non-hits, in the case of poor Jennifer) to the horrified awe of millions. Come on, Mariah! You nail “My All” and...

It’s been six years since a girl won ‘American Idol’ and I think it’s Angie’s time to shine! With a heartfelt tribute to her hometown of Boston and her beautiful rendition of a Beyonce classic, she is in it to win it!
The top five girls sang two songs each — one from their birth year and one from a diva. Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson judged throughout but it’s up to You to determine the top four! Do you agree that Angie stole the show tonight? Keep reading for the full recap of the April 17 show.
The Top Five Sing Songs From The Year They Were Born
Candice Glover was born in 1989. She put her own twist on “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. “It’s so effortless for you. You set the bar high for all the other girls,” Keith said. “Unpredictable.

America got its first glimpse of American Idol's first all-female top five Wednesday night, but it was two other women – Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj – who briefly stole the show with their unexpected verbal catfight.
The tense exchange happened when they were critiquing Kree Harrison, who had just performed her first song of the night, "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes.
Mariah liked the performance and said, "You can sing anything and I love to hear you sing." But she felt like Kree might have been trying too hard to perform: "My favorite Kree moments are when...

Certainly this is the path to a happy, healthy, well-adjusted citizenry and a truly productive economy. The Onion: Find The Thing You're Most Passionate About, Then Do It On Nights And Weekends For The Rest Of Your Life It could be anything—music, writing, drawing, acting, teaching—it really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that once you know what you want to do, you dive in a full 10 percent and spend the other 90 torturing yourself because you know damn well that it’s far too late to make a drastic career change, and that you’re stuck on this mind-numbing path for the rest of your life. Is there any other way to live? I can’t stress this enough: Do what you love…in between work commitments, and family commitments, and commitments that tend to pop up and take immediate precedence over doing the thing you love.

A shocking video shows a scared boy, believed to be about three years old, restrained by his mother as he is forced to get a tattoo on his arm. The boy cries and struggles to break free, but continues to be inked by the needle.
A disturbing new YouTube video captured the shocking moment when a woman took her toddler son to a tattoo parlor to get a tattoo! As the boy screams out in pain, his mom keeps him restrained — and loud hardcore dance music is played in the background.
Although the mother and boy have not been identified, the infant is believed to be around three years old, and they are thought to be in Cuba. She clutches him close to her chest and at one point says “mire, mire,” which means “look, look” in Spanish.

Former Scrubs celeb Sarah Chalke has just been pegged for a new comedy on ABC entitled How To Live With Your Parents For The Rest Of Your Life (kudos for length!). Fans of Chalke certainly remember her biggest role to date as Eliot Reid on the doctor themed sitcom.
The show will feature Chalke in the lead role as a single mother who is forced to move in with her strange but endearing parents. Kind of seems like Parenthood but with a protagonist-centric How I Met Your Mother feel.
How To Live With Your Parents was created by Claudia Lonow, whose previous writing credits include Accidentally on Purpose and Less Than Perfect. The series pilot is being produced by ABC, which is where the show will end up if it reaches full fruition.

Hollywood producer with a string of hit films, including Jaws
For a man who went to Hollywood late and without much enthusiasm, the career of the film producer David Brown, who has died of kidney failure aged 93, was spectacular. He was responsible for putting on screen some of the most memorable and profitable film classics of recent times, including The Sting, which won an Oscar in 1973 for best film; Jaws (1975), which broke records and established its director Steven Spielberg; the highly praised Cocoon in 1985; Driving Miss Daisy, which won an Oscar for best picture in 1989; A Few Good Men, nominated as best film in 1992; the director Robert Altman's critically acclaimed 1992 Hollywood satire The Player; and Chocolat, nominated as best film of 2000. For the last of these, Brown was well into his 80s when he supervised filming on location in France.
