Sex & Nudity

- Certain versions of SNATCHER has nudity that is uncensored, although you don't see the overall explicit part of them. Nipples are visible in Japanese titles. English version has partial nudity but meant to be played more for humor than for disturbing. The character mainly affected in the shower scene is 14, but changed to 18 in the English release. Nipples are censored in the English release.
Violence & Gore

- Frequent violence and gore throughout, which would rate the game as Mature 17+ by 2018 standards. Gore is generally explicit in both some Japanese games and the English release. Some gore censored in English release. SNATCHER bodies often expode into Terminator like skin or pop off completely. A male character is decapitated with a visible trachea. Blood is frequent in combat related actions.
- One of the more graphic scenes can be found in the Morgue, in which maggots can be seen eating away a body. This was censored in the PSX release.
- Some characters are shot by SNATCHERs which comes with blood slotches, while some side characters are shot by SNATCHERs and seen dying. Rather large blood splatters for injuries and/or dying moments.

- "Damn" can be heard infrequently in the dialogue.

- There is a scene in which a male character is drunk off of alcohol, he is slurred in that scene. Only seems to occur once.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Scenes can be intense with frequent decision making and scary scenes involving SNATCHERs. One of the more graphic scenes can be found in the Morgue.

- It will be seen as both frightening and intense when players realize the commander himself was a SNATCHER himself. First met in ACT 1, and known in ACT 3.
