An amusing take on the "food as aphrodisiac" theme
cricharddavies8 July 2006
One of several videos seemingly made as vehicles for apparent real life couple, N'J DeBahia and Sergio, this one explores the same connection between food and sensuality that animates films like "Babette's Feast" and "Chocolat". (Okay, so it's nowhere even close to being as well-made as either of those films, but it really does deal with the same themes.) The lead couple play a pair of restaranteurs who rarely serve their guests what they want, but usually what they need ... or at least, need in order to be motivated for sex.

There's also some amusing subversion of adult entertainment tropes. While there's plenty of m/f and some f/f sex, there are also just hints of a certain amount of m/m sexuality, generally a no-no in conventional adult cinema. During the film's climactic (sorry) orgy, while three cheerleaders are being enthusiastically debauched by three jocks and a businesswoman, played by the lovely Dee, is simultaneously enjoying her boyfriend, the latter two do not join in the other sex scene. And the video's best scene, a threeway between DeBahia, Sergio and Kelli Cage, prefigured earlier by Cage's boyfriend speculating about bringing another girl into their relationship, is punctuated by him walking in on the scene and demanding an explanation.

Her response: "Menage a trois." Okay, so that's not really very funny, but it does offer a pointed commentary on the distinction between having sexual fantasies and actually seeing them played out. So this is an appealing and amusing video.
