Oh, if all airlines were like this. The whole affair is pretty weak here. It's like Sex World on a plane, only Sex World had much more potency to it. Like Sex World, we too have flashbacks, but they're more brief tellings and I like just said, lack a lot of potency. Also known as Sex Airlines, we're in for a short 65 minute trip with some real horny and imaginatively written characters like a very demanding Shiek, and two asses, a riotous cowboy and his black friend, who through some flashbacks, just like to cause trouble. May'be they're really afraid of women and short circuit. That's the vibe I get. We even get oddballs on this flight, like one old guy, who into cleanliness, his flashback, almost becoming something serious and ugly, involving a hooker, who's being held down by some other men. Thiery De Briem, a terrible actor and his wife, the leads here, I guess, much like the couple in Sex World, are having troubles in the bedroom and need a bit of sexual stimulation, and the stewardesses are ready and willing to satisfy. One off scene has Briem in a menois de trois, only he's getting done from behind, from a third party, who happens to be a male stranger. You could pass this off as a comedy or see it as a comedy, an adult one of course. If you take this seriously, you're only kidding yourself. This weak film starts off wonderfully with a lesbian scene, to a familiar tune from Initiation at College which also starred dud, De Briem. It's scary to know where these actors originate from. Though it is a weak superficial adult flick, there's a lot to be entertained by, especially from ogling eyes. But like I said, look at it as an amusing flick, to be semi aroused or more, like it, amused by, amongst a little bit of turbulence.

The Karine Gambier Effect

Warning: Spoilers
Ah, the late 70s Euro porn scene. Take a deep breath and sniff that sleazy, yet somehow sweet, air. This particular film is no worse and no better than most of the other examples of its kind (that "kind" being the light, frothy, sweet Euro porn film that doesn't seem to really exist anymore in this world of Christophe Clark and Rocco pain and degradation marathons.) The story is nothing to write home about: it's one of those "sex plane" type things. It's about a specialized airline that offers its passengers more than just peanuts and an in-flight movie. No, these passengers are here for the sex, doled out by the lovely hostesses of the title. What stands out here is the presence of the absolutely amazing Karine Gambier, who is at her fleshy, gorgeous best. She is such a free-spirit and one can't help but smile whenever she's on screen. She's not given much to do acting-wise in this film, which is a shame since she was one of the best pure actors in this genre (Brigitte Lahaie was good as well and was able to make it into semi-mainstream films; Gambier, although putting in jaw-dropping performances in films directed by Jess Franco and Edwin Deitrich, never quite made as far as her more famous contemporary.) All in all, a fun, sexy, hardcore film that is forgettable but enjoyable. A note for the more closed-minded viewer: there is a short gay-male sex scene in this, so, if you're not comfortable with your sexuality, you may want to skip this (or just forward past the scene.)
Funny enjoyable.
