Sex & Nudity

- A lecherous monk is always thinking about women. He asks almost every woman he meets to bear his child. This is done for comedic purposes.
- Characters are naked a lot around other characters for such and such reasons. The nudity can be full body, though it's not detailed.
- Mistress Centipede is naked, and her bare breast are visible, though her nipples aren't seen.
- Yura wears a skintight outfit that reveals most of her breast, but her nipples are covered.
- Some characters are flirty and suggestive, and later episodes include some innuendo and animated partial nudity (nothing overly graphic).
- Infrequent, brief nudity in a few bathing scenes, nothing overly titillating. There are occasional sexual jokes/references, but it's all mild as such behavior is generally punished and/or looked down upon.
Violence & Gore

- The villains in this series are man-eating demons who routinely torture and slaughter entire villages comprised of hundreds. That said, we don't get to see these acts directly and the aftermaths are not too graphic.
- There is a fair amount of fighting, such as swordplay and magic are used for violence, mostly between different species of demon. But there's no notable bloodshed.
- Moderate amounts of blood, the limbs of demons occasionally get lopped off during battles. Inuyasha gets impaled by an enemy's arm in one scene.
- The main antagonist sometimes uses tentacles to attack his opponents.
- Demons are severed and sometimes blood pours out.
Profanity

- There's a bit of salty language, such as "damn", "bastard", "hell", "ass", "crap", etc.
- "Damn", "hell" and "bastard" are used somewhat regularly, "ass" is used occasionally in a nonsexual context.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Sake is mentioned and poured onto a character once or twice.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Some demons or hanyos are frightening, and so are their actions.
- Some scenes are distressing
- Softer than most other anime that's aimed at teenagers and adults.
