The Chuckle Brothers are the sole employees at a supermarket where Barry's zealous efforts to clean and polish the floor are as disastrous as his stint at the check-out when the till roll gets out of control. When the evening's cabaret act fails to show up the brothers take to the stage with the manager and their accident-prone routine goes down well with the guests.

However, being the Chuickle Brothers, they leave their first fare standing on the pavement whilst they ferry his grandfather clock and assume he is inside it, and end up by driving into a lorry bound for Australia.

Finally he alters the direction indicator for the race, unaware that it will lead him,and not the trophy-winning Barry, into the river.
