When Mrs. Cramp decides to extend her kitchen to accommodate a new autoclave for sterilising the dishes, Wayne suggests they save money by doing it themselves. - After seeing an alien invasion movie, Wayne is excited by the prospect of an alien invasion. He starts to try to find evidence to convince Lucien that aliens are coming, but Lucien is not so easily impressed.

Strangely moved by his brother's grief and fascinated with the dead worm, Wayne agrees to take care of "the arrangements". -When Lucien tells his mother that Wayne is wearing dirty clothes again he sets Wayne up for an unexpectedly major humiliation.
