One more good drama speaking of WW2

Yes, this is a poignant movie destined to sensitive audiences, a feature produced to make housewives cry more than laugh. This tale of a Young orphan Polish boy, survivor of a concentration camp, and then put Under protection by a kind woman, is very gripping. The most unusual point is the husband's one, because the woman's man his himself an ex POW who refuses to have his family in charge of a boy who would remind him bad memories. The woman's character is impressive, with her daily burden to fight with all her means to make the orphan happy to exist, to live. Some scenes here are unforgettable, such as this one where the young boy faces a dog, a German shepherd, which reminds him the camp where he comes from; or the one when the family man offers his own son a nazi uniform, and just in front of the young survivor...Or the other sequence when, on the beach, the Young boy with the family son see a sort of barbed wire fence forbidden area, where NO TRESSPASS is written, see where I drive at?

I would have expected this movie to more emphasize of children cruelty among themselves.

Yes, a very Worth watching family drama, for home audiences. I recommend it.
