The meaning of certain action is a trifle vague
deickemeyer12 February 2019
A three reel story of international intrigue, adapted from a novel by Jacques Futrelle. The cast is a pleasing one and includes Alec Francis and Belle Adair. The observer is plunged at once into a series of efforts on the part of the conspirators to get hold of certain plans. The girl spy plays an important part in the developments and later in rounding up the band. An air of mystery is hung over the various scenes, and at times the meaning of certain action is a trifle vague. This production contains nothing very new in plot. but it is well constructed, and the interest is maintained from start to finish. The photography is also good. - The Moving Picture World, September 19, 1914
