A throwback to the '80s is creeping up on us after the turn of the new year. A return to the unapologetically goopy, bladder-filled FX days. It's called Alien Raiders , director Ben Rock's feature debut coming to DVD February 17th. And despite being afflicted with a cheap title and sounding a bit close to the Bruce Campbell film Terminal Invasion this sixth film in the Raw Feed series, based on the whopping thirty-five production stills we've received, looks pretty awesome. We suggest you hop into our photo gallery now and see if you agree with us (you'll also find a hi-res look at the cover art). Rock, a Florida native who can claim to have created the "stick man" symbol for The Blair Witch Project , has dabbled in short films and short tie-in projects for films...

Though the word on the street is that, essentially, My Name is Bruce is not the be-all, end-all Bruce Campbell film we had been hoping for, that doesn’t mean it won’t go well with a six pack and a joint, does it? It does not, but you’ll be able to test that theory come February 10th when Image Entertainment releases the flick in both standard and Blu-ray formats.
Fangoria got the first look at the specs for the DVD, and they go a little something like this:
Commentary by Campbell & producer Mike Richardson “Heart of Darkness” featurette Awkward Moments with Kit Cave Alien 2 trailer “Beyond Inside the Cave: The Making of Cave Alien 2” Kit’s Korner Poster, props & photo galleries “The Hard Truth” “Love Birds” And if you’re really feeling a need for punishment with a big chin, Image will release the Sci Fi Channel epic Terminal Invasion,...

Somewhere, amid the noise of clattering beer bottles and the howler monkey antics of the festival crowd, films played. Welcome to Deadmonton, a truly alternative film festival where a fight is probably breaking out in the back of the room and head curators Matt Acosta and Derek Clayton will have no problem standing up at the front of the crowd to tell everyone to "shut the f#%$ up or get the f#^$ out." A fest where crowd pleasers like Tokyo Gore Police and Treevenge rock the house between retro grindhouse trailers and live, if somewhat sedate, burlesque performances. Oh wait, did I forget to mention they also managed to score the Canadian premiere of Bruce Campbell's hilarious new film, My Name is Bruce? Yeah, even before its premiere...
