I'm a huge fan of the Sarah Young vignette videos of the '90s, which have been usefully compiled for us latter-day fans on DVD in THE GODDESS OF LOVE and SARAH YOUNG PRIVATE FANTASIES series. This edition of the 1992 THE YOUNG ONE series has an actual plot line, which makes it play more like a feature film.
Steve Drake stars as a wealthy guy in Los Angeles, seen driving his Jaguar convertible in the opening (though video was undoubtedly shot at Sascha Alexander's German studio facility).
The soap opera plot, which doesn't get resolved (a "To Be Continued" card signals the need to get Part Four of THE YOUNG ONE, same cast), went over my head merely because I watched this in a German-dubbed version with Danish subtitles! Having seen a lengthy excerpt (the mixed combo segment) before, I knew this was originally shot in English.
As usual, it is a vehicle for Sarah, who has sex memorably with Sean Michaels (for which he earns second billing), a threesome with Drake and a sinister-looking Tony Tedeschi (called Tony T. in the credits confusingly) and later a comical, slapstick sex scene with Mike Horner.
The other gals are quite pretty, though as exec producer Sarah makes sure she's not upstaged. No director or writer credits are listed, though Sascha is obviously in charge, and videographer "Roy Alexander" is clearly the guy who went on to direct the excellent BOOBCAGE series.
