Decent but Preachy

Decent documentary on sharks, though kind of out dated since the information is kind of standard knowledge to anybody who's been watching documentaries on sharks for years.

Entertaining enough, nice shots, an a very good orchestral score by Lee Holdridge (who has done other good scores for documentaries, as well are movies and TV series).

But there was a major problem with it: it was preachy all the time. I'm not kidding or exaggerating; every three to six minutes the documentary took another slam at the evil human race that how stupid they are and how they just kill sharks because they have moron brains full of knee-jerk tendencies. No admitting we made mistakes in the past and are striving to do better, just man = evil, literally with shots of men killing sharks, meanwhile the Chinese get a pass for eating them (again, literally, they are shown capturing, slicing them open, and eating them, but nothing about how they are evil). Unfortunately this brings the documentary down, and with the dated information your time might be better spent watching ones that are newer than this 1982 special.
