Two children hang out in rural England. Jo constantly torments his friend Nathan and tries to make him do harmful things. However when a smaller child (Tony) enters into their group Jo finds that they have the potential for even more fun - with serious consequences.

We are what surrounds us is the message here. First we see how Jo is with his friends and then we see how Jo himself is treated at home. The link between the two is crystal clear to see. The story is basic but it is very shocking and may be upsetting for some to watch as it contains violent acts between children and some cruelty. The story is compelling and the attention is held by the good child actors.

I'm sure they may only do bad UK sitcoms if they work again, but the two main children are very real - Clarke is good as both the tormentor and tormentee and, despite looking like a girl, is well worth watching this for.

Overall the story is involving and keeps the attention but also makes a very clear point and a very important one at that.
