Editor's Note: I asked Team Experience to tell us what they're thankful for this year during the holiday weekend. Here's Jose in the cinematic spirit.
Jose here. This year I’m thankful...
For Hardy with puppies. And Godard with Roxy.
For Keira, Kristen and Kirsten.
For snakes made out of clouds.
For cruising in French lakes (even with killers on the loose)
For movies about toys that didn’t treat me like a kid.
For Marion x 2. For Joaquin Phoenix x 2. For Chastain x 4 (she doesn't make it seem like bragging either!)
For Dan Stevens’ abs and killer acting chops (pun intended).
For Shia in the buff.
For Carrie Coon and Jenny Slate (can they play sisters some day?).
For Swedish films about skiing that reminded me how much I love Mike Nichols.
For Broadway actors in movies (I'm looking at you Jefferson Mays in Inherent Vice).
For Edward Norton's tan.

Previously: What Are Films Without An Audience?
A large portion of our population has thankfully grown past the phase of only wearing bracelets to feel like we are agents of change in our world or society. Today the world is small enough and access is great enough for every individual to truly make small changes that can accumulate to create huge impact on life and planet. Filmmakers are some of the most dynamic multi-taskers of our world society, and on top of that they already have a solid medium with audiences they can inspire to make important world changes.
With most all film projects, a director must envision some type of change he/she wants to inspire in the film’s eventual audience. Whether it is changing their perspective, making them laugh, or giving them insight into the world around them, your story should have a designed...

"Hollywood Game Night" (premieres Thurs., July 11 at 10 p.m. Et on NBC) isn't skimping on stars -- the celebrity-packed line-up boasts some of the biggest and best names on TV.
Hosted by "Glee" star Jane Lynch and created by "Will & Grace" alum Sean Hayes, the show is modeled after Hayes' own game nights at his house, where he invites a random sampling of his friends, famous and not, to come play. "Hollywood Game Night" takes that same approach, teaming three celebrities with a civilian player.
Can you imagine playing Celebrity with celebrities? Or what about having to guess that a not-so-flattering child's portrait of Matthew Perry is indeed the "Friends" star ... while he's sitting on the couch next to you?
Take a look through this gallery to see some of the famous faces stopping by to play.

It looks as if Sean Hayes may have a lifelong contract with NBC.
Since his Emmy-winning turn as Jack Macfarland on the hit sitcom "Will & Grace" ended in 2006, his most prominent television roles have been guest appearances on other NBC shows such as "Up All Night," "30 Rock," and the current season of "Smash." Now the Peacock network seems poised to bump him up to leading man status again as they have announced their pick-up of Hayes's new sitcom, "Sean Saves the World," for next season.
In "Sean Saves the World," Hayes trades Jack's jazz hands for the life of a divorced gay dad who tries to find a way to balance his work life with caring for his teenage daughter who moves in with him. Could this comedy tick the "gay" box for NBC if they decide not to renew the still-on-the-bubble "The New Normal?" That remains to be seen,...

Rob is not letting his separation from Kristen dampen his spirits in Australia. In fact, Rob looks to be having a good time, posing with fans in Australia on Jan. 25.
Robert Pattinson enjoyed Adelaide’s Big Day Out at the Showgrounds in Australia on Jan. 25, where he watched The Killers, Vampire Weekend and the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform at the festival.
Rob, 26, wore his signature baseball cap, a checkered shirt and dark jeans. Back stage, he happily posed for a photo with John Day and some friends, as well as a sexy blonde!
“He was very cool, very gracious and good humoured … I asked him how he was enjoying Adelaide and he said he’d only been here a short time and hadn’t seen much,” John says.

Vanity Fair will be devoting their January 2013 issue to comedy and those who practice it best, a first for the magazine. While I support this idea wholeheartedly, there are a few kinks with the issue we need to discuss, because this is the Internet, and we can. First off: Vanity Fair teamed with 60 Minutes to create a poll about things that make us laugh, and like most polls penned by 60 Minutes, the results are weird. The main one we need to bitch about is this: 60% of those polled believe men are funnier than women.
Oh, I’m sorry. Did you say something? I couldn’t hear, because I was busy repeatedly slamming my head into a wall and wondering why the hell we’re still asking this question.

There are several Twilight Saga cast updates to share, so to keep it succinct, here's a wrap of the latest. For starters, Maggie Grace ("Irina" - Denali Coven) has just joined the cast of the new Kevin Williamson TV series pilot for Fox about a serial killer on the loose. According to EW, Grace will portray "a young doctor who's the only surviving victim of infamous serial killer Joe Carroll." Carroll will be portrayed by James Purefoy, and Kevin Bacon stars as the FBI agent tracking him. Last month it was announced that Grace's fellow The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 co-star Valorie Curry (who ... al Twilight stars. J.J. Abrams' Revolution will feature both Billy Burke ("Charlie Swan") and J.D. Pardo ("Nahuel") fro ... p, Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen") will be returning to guest host Live With Kelly on A ... For reasons that I will never be able to explain, I watched the second episode of ABC cross-dressing sitcom, "Work It." Perhaps it was morbid curiosity? Perhaps it's that "Work It" takes place in my hometown of St. Louis? (For the record, unlike the characters in "Work It" not every resident of St. Louis has a picture of the St. Louis Arch in his or her home. Something St. Louis Cardinals-related? Yes. The Arch? No.)
"Work It" is about two men, Lee and Angel, who dress as women because, for some reason, it's the only way that they can get a job in today's economy. "Work It," as we know, is a very bad television show.
But, as I was watching, I was fascinated by just how often the laugh track is activated, which is a lot. So I tried to put myself in the head of the person who...

The cast of Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys Season 2
(all photos courtesy The Sundance Channel)
Sundance Channel's Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys, which this Friday launches its second season, is a reality show about relationships where the connections are durable and have been forged over years, not developed between commercial breaks.
This is a show set in Nashville where you'd expect conservative, Bible Belt attitudes to be on display. But actual people with those views are rarely encountered in the living rooms, coffee shops and bars of our protagonists.
This is a show about a stereotype: straight women who form strong attachments to gay males. But don’t be expecting to see toxic traces of Will & Grace – or even Karen & Jack. With one or two exceptions, these women have full, emotionally-satisfying lives that make room for a best friend who happens to be gay.

Monte Carlo is a good-natured throwback to romantic comedies that took place in exotic locations for no reason other than for escapism. Here is a film that’s pure escapism, light and upbeat if missing a biting wit that would have made this delightful. Instead it’s an adventure film with a farce structure but refuses to waltz into farce, holding the line. Selena Gomez stars as a recent Texas highly graduate, who is sent by her step father to Paris with her best friend, Emma (Katie Cassidy) and her half-sister whom she has tenuous relationship with, Meg (Leighton Meester).
Staying only one night in Paris (hey, wasn’t that title of something else?) they see key tourist destinations at a break-neck speed, but when they slow down they get stuck. They discover Gomez’s Grace looks an awful lot like rich heiress/snob Cordelia Winthrop Scott (why can’t...

Well technically Rob’s film mom Elizabeth Reaser, but still!
It looks like Kristen Stewart’s ex Michael Angarano has a great way to keep tabs on her — he’s friends with her Twilight costar Elizabeth Reaser! Elizabeth, who plays Robert Pattinson’s mom Esme, costars in the new film Homework with Michael, and the two looked like good pals posing for photos at the Sundance Film Festival!
Michael is perhaps best known for his role as Jack’s son on Will & Grace and he dated Kristen while she was filming the first two Twilight films! In fact, there are even photos of him hanging with Kristen and some of her cast mates during the production of New Moon!
As for Michael and Elizabeth’s new film, which also stars Emma Roberts, it is already an early crowd favorite at Sundance and has been picked up by Fox Searchlight according to our sister site Deadline!
