History is finally told as it really happened.
zzmale5 April 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: the Jumping Flame.

This movie is based on the true story that happened three and half a decade ago in Si-Chuan province in the western part of China. The importance of this movie is that for the first time, this historical event is told the way it really was, without any political bias.

Previously, the discussion of this topic is willfully ignored because those nationalists later switched their sides by defecting to communist camp, significantly sped up the communist victory in the region, and the bad things they previously did was avoided as a result. This movie finally honestly brought out the not-so-favorite part of the history without any political bias.
