It's Christmas time but David and Lopez don't feel like celebrating. Instead, they'll try to spend holidays as if it was any other random time of the year. Carbonell will meet a very special man and will leave everything behind for him.
A film director offers a role to David in Madrid. He flies to the capital for the rehearsals. Lopez has a revelation and chases David to convince him to turn the job down. However, plans change when Lopez surrenders to Madrid's charms.
David's grandmother ("la iaia") shows up in his flat. At first it seems to be a short visit, but later on David and Lopez will find out she has moved in for good. Ramon will be delighted with la iaia, while Emma not so much.
Lopez experiences several random and weird situations in one day like not wearing trousers at work or finding a goat in the apartment. David will help him realize that it could all be a dream...literally.
David becomes increasingly concerned about the environment so he starts recycling. His commitment gets more and more serious as he drags Emma to an ancient lifestyle. Lopez will try to talk them out of it.
David and Lopez have a ludicrous quarrel about storing biscuits and muffins in the same box. Lopez snaps and moves out. Both will find flat mates (Daniel and Gomez) that resemble each other.
