1. WCW Cruiserweight Title Match: Dean Malenko Vs. Champ-Eddie Guerrero - Eddie rocks! How heel can win in a nice way. 8/10

2. WCW World Tag Team Title Match: Randy Savage/Vincent/Scott Norton Vs. Champs-The Steiner Brothers/Ray Traylor - Upset, savage beat Scott Steiner I can't remember if I saw these two wrestling against each other some when. 8/10

3. Bill Goldberg Vs. Steve McMichael - Mongo lost in big way, almost no offense. His career in WCW fall down unlike Goldberg. Match was minor. 6.5/10

4. Saturn Vs. Chris Benoit - I like both of them. Saturn won with help by Raven's Flock 8/10

5. Buff Bagwell Vs. Lex Luger - Totally uninteresting match. Buff cheaply won. 5/10

6. WCW U.S. Heavyweight Title Match: Diamond Dallas Page Vs. Champ-Curt Hennig - New U.S. Champ DDP. Fine Match, clean victory. 8.5/10

7. Eric Bischoff Vs. Larry Zbyszko - No contest "Legend "Match. About nothing. 6/10

8. WCW World Heavyweight Title Match: Champ-Hulk Hogan Vs. Sting - You know that match, maybe the greatest promotion of all time and Sting couldn't look weaker. ?/10

Starcade 97* sting wrestles Hollywood hogan in the most anticipated match of the 90's and for me a pure wrestling fan it did not disappoint. sting obviously came over as the challenger who would not quit while hogan playing the baddie came across as the coward who would do anything t retain the title. But sting over comes the odds to became WCW and a mass celebration occurs after his victory stings entrance is also amazing WCW really put him over as A GOTH trying to turn sting into a WCW version of the UNDERTAKER which was amazing. taking nothing away from sting.LONG LIVE THE STINGER

the rest of this event was mostly all hyped up about the main event with the rest of the matches basically taking up the space needed to make a payperview
