It's a shame this ride was removed because I only got to ride it once and I have to say it was fun. It was a replacement for the previous ride, The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera which also seemed like an interesting ride though it's a little strange that Hanna-Barbera characters would be in a Universal Park though I digress. Basically the plot centers on you riding a rocket with Jimmy Nuetron (Debi Derryberry) and Carl Weezer (Rob Paulson) in order to retrieve a new rocket Jimmy built that was stolen by his enemy's brother Ooblar. This leads them to cross over to several Nick shows both old and new.

This concept's been done before but to be fair they do something new with it. All in all it's still a fun ride. If you can find it on Youtube i'd say check it out though nothing compares to riding it. Gotta Blast!

It's about Ooblar had stolen Jimmy's new rocket creation, The Mark IV. Jimmy, along with his best friend Carl and robotic canine, Goddard, invite the audience to give chase in other rockets through the worlds and sound stages of the Nicktoons.

The attraction replaced The Funtasic World Of Hanna-Barbara which opened within the park in June of 1990. The decision to replace the attraction was actually made in 1998 as the ride's attendance level was starting to dwindle due to children becoming more disinterested in Hanna-Barbera cartoons. So they began using Nickelodeon to replace Hanna-Barbera and the attraction was permanently closed on October 2002 to make room for Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast in 2003. I was so horrified when it happened and it broke my heart. But on August 2011, the ride was closed and was replaced with Despicable Me Minon Mayhem in 2012. Overall this not an excellent and outstanding ride.
