Fantastic journey through an ever changing world.

It is rather difficult to explain how a film with no words and no actors can both meaningful and enjoyable.

Kaishi is a film that stoops very much into the impressionistic art form of filmmaking. It features wonderful animation and a great score. Though difficult to say how exactly, the film just works. In fact, to maybe put it more plainly, the film is extremely cerebral. And a rare treat for the senses. Its as stunning a journey as any I have undertaken with a short film.
