As B as a B movie gets!
donpauljones18 June 2004
Admit it, you love B movies, so do yourself a favor and check this out. This is a completely silly no-budget movie. Take Ed Wood, mash him together with John Waters, remove any hint of cash flow, and you will have director Michael Legge. A scene didn't go by where I wasn't at least chuckling, if not laughing outright. It's one of those movies that rewards a second viewing, because there are so many gags and subtle humor that might be missed the first time. All of the actors are very good. I would like to know how the casting person found so many non-professional actors that can do comedy. And let's not forget the action. The final showdown between Honey Glaze and the evil Nurse would impress Jacki Chan. Just prepare yourself for something off the wall, and you'll love it!

Brilliant

I am overwhelmingly surprised at how good this film was.

It was no masterpiece that could win an oscar, but for a b-movie, it was great. The Comedy was Hollywood like as it was really funny. It is the best Legge movie i have seen and i bought the DVD of Honey Glaze because i liked it so much.

Great work on the film, i hope Legge brings out more movies as good as this one.

I went to the premiere of this and it was fun. The food was good.

If you like slapstick comedy, this Spy/Comedy is for you.

7 out of 10 stars!

Lots of Fun!!!

This Michael Legge film was lots of fun! I have seen this movie several times and it only gets better each time I watch it.

Legge uses broad humor to tell his story and it works, we have lots of spoofing and some farce and good old sight gags thrown in for good measure. Monty Python meets the Three Stooges and the Marx Brothers all rolled into one crazy, silly adventure.

The actress, Lorna Nogueira, who plays Honey does a good job playing both aspects of her character first a child in a woman's body, and then a top secret agent! And Legge plays a very humorous villain, who although is very evil and bad, you start feeling sorry for because of all the things he has to go through!

The supporting cast of characters are all fun to watch. Good viewing!

...Like A BOND GIRL with BRAINS and PHOBIAS.

"Yo,wonderful DVD...But,Lets say it's a female 007 parody(Take that Halle Berry).Kind of like "KILL BILL"-But with laughs....And those ninjas, those goofy/bumbling ninjas. Opening credits, are a right-on take off of Classic 007 movie intros. Think of "My Fair Lady" of Spy Farces. "M" would love the toys(such as a Retro Robot, Slinky, and Chattering teeth) that are used to combat the evil ninjas. The classic "Sneaking a pill in drink" scene ,has forever been replaced !Warning: Please, after reading this review...Keep watching the web, they are out there, keep watching the web... BRAINDRAINER ...Very kewl CGI opening of a meteor coming to Earth, Mike this looks expensive (Waaah). Okay, here is a partial list of movies parodied-The Blob, It Came From Outerspace, Brain from Planet Arous, Xfiles, Robo Cop(that might be a in-depth list ?) The villain (With a Peter Lorre voice riff) does this almost 3D-inspired assault with a glass eye(little cgi,i think) constantly-very much fun .The clever ending is not politically correct ,but, neither is Washington DC !
