Imp Awards published a Russian poster for the upcoming science-fiction thriller “Apollo 18.” The film’s plot revolves around a Russian “found footage” from the 1970s that implies Apollo 18 secretly discovered some life forms on the surface of the moon. Conspiracy theorists believed the mission did launch as planned despite the official cancellation orders by President Richard Nixon. It was speculated two American astronauts were sent to the moon in December 1973 and funded by the United States Department of Defense. Nasa has since denied these conspiracy theories and some conspiracy theorists claimed it was the reason on why the United States never had another mission to the moon.
