Time is an Illusion

In 1980, the director Ruy Solberg succeeds in making a documentary about the life and work of his friend, Mário Peixoto, who wrote and directed "Limite", considered by many viewers the best Brazilian movie ever made. Mário Peixoto opens his manor in Ilha Grande and tells how he had the idea of the screenplay of "Limite" while in Europe; the importance of the cinematographer Edgar Brazil, recommended by Adhemar Gonzaga and Humberto Mauro, to work in "Limite"; details of his second never concluded feature "Sonho Sobre a Areia" (and later called "Onde a Terra Acaba"); and how his friend Plínio Sussekind recovered the vanished copy and restored "Limite" frame by frame. He also visits a side-show in a carnival. My vote is seven.
