Not One of the Best Telenovelas I have seen
Michael-RGV5 April 2009
On face value, Soñarás appears to be a telenovela made for a younger crowd because of the focus on the youth in the story. While it had its entertaining moments, the story lacked a logical flow and it was easy to get lost.

Soñarás starts with a young man named Rey who has dreams of professionally singing one day. He is poor, unconnected and lives with his grandparents. He is a waiter at a night club run by the principal villain in the story named Don Pedro. Rey's life gets very complicated when he falls in love with Isabella, a wealthy young lady who also happens to be the girlfriend of Don Pedro's son, Alfredo. Add to that, Rey's sleazy ex-girlfriend, Dolores returning after running away with another man and set on regaining Rey's love at any cost. Your typical plot for a telenovela.

While I did enjoy Soñarás for the most part, I didn't like the way people were dropped out of the story with no real explanation of what happened to them and how quickly those who left were forgotten. Because of the lack of continuity; I gave this telenovela 5 stars.
