I remember seeing this on TV late one night. I think it was on an inspirational channel. I was surprised that James Cagney ever did anything on TV. It was a rare venture into TV for Mr Cagney. The TV show was called "The Christophers"? Without giving too much of the plot away the basic story line is this: Cagney plays a professor who is being honored for his many years of teaching. He wonders if his teaching really made a difference in the lives of his students. He comes across an old box filled with reminders of his teaching past and the story unfolds from there... I knew that Cagney was talented not just as an actor, but also as a singer and dancer (Yankee Doodle Dandy) His performance was subtle and graceful. I was disappointed to find out that this was only available on VHS. Does anyone know if there is a DVD copy anywhere of this little gem?
