Epic Games is always looking for new ways to collaborate with popular IPs like Marvel, Star Wars, and, most recently, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Fortnite is the go-to game to make a good and proper crossover and the reception to them proves so.
In a recent Q&a, the creator of The Binding of Isaac, Edmund McMillen, mentioned that Epic Games has reached out to him about a possible collaboration with the popular battle royale title. The logistics of this particular crossover will be tricky, but with the Epic Games title, every kind of popular franchise can make certain items for the game.
The Binding of Isaac Could Come to Fortnite Soon Fortnite may be working on a new collaboration.
After more than six years since its launch, Fortnite has become the best title for a collaboration; every type of brand and character already has a skin in the game.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 10 of “The Masked Singer,” “Quarter Finals: Final Four,” which aired May 8 on Fox.
“This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz knew “The Masked Singer” would be a challenge. But that’s why Metz, who was revealed as latest celebrity to be unmasked on Wednesday night’s quarter finals, figured she had to do it.
“When I watched the show, and I would see either my friends or peers on the show, I’m like, how do they do it?” said Metz, who was revealed as the Poodle Moth. “And it was harder than I thought. I knew it was gonna be like trying, because it’s enough to just stand on the stage and sing. But like to put on a massive costume, to not really know where you’re going and to be led by people in...

AMC Entertainment Holdings has seen its first-quarter revenues edge down slightly on weaker box office in the wake of the dual Hollywood strikes last year, and its net loss narrow as Dune: Part Two and Godzilla x Kong played in its theaters.
On Wednesday, the parent of AMC Theatres reported overall revenues for the three months to March 31, 2024 hitting $951.4 million, just down from a year-earlier $954.4 million, which came amid a 6 percent overall decline in the first quarter North American box office for Hollywood films, compared to 2023.
The premiere on its screens of titles like Dune: Part Two and Kung Fu Panda 4 in early March helped offset a slow box office start this year in January and February. The net loss at the giant cinema chain came in at $163.5 million, which shrank a year-earlier loss of $235.5 million. And the diluted loss per-share was 62 cents, against a year-earlier loss per-share of...

Whatever fate befalls Paramount Global after the smoke clears, one of the Hollywood Trivial Pursuit questions someday will be which heavy hitters have issued statements of support for Skydance’s proposed acquisition of Paramount’s holding company, National Amusements Inc. — and which didn’t.
Even as the Paramount special committee passed on the offer from David Ellison’s company May 4, sources say the Skydance-RedBird alliance has not given up. The premise, a source with knowledge of the situation tells The Hollywood Reporter, is that the rival Apollo/Sony Pictures offer now up for Paramount’s consideration will fail for multiple reasons, with Skydance still waiting in the wings.
So despite much Wall Street skepticism over a proposed deal that favors controlling shareholder Shari Redstone over other investors, “Skydance has been on an extremely aggressive PR campaign in the last month to convince everyone how legitimate they are,” says a prominent media mogul.

Francis Lawrence's 2007 post-apocalyptic drama "I Am Legend" is based loosely on the celebrated 1954 novel by Richard Matheson. The original novel is set in the near future of 1976 when a destructive war has ravaged the Earth, and a horrible virus has infected the survivors. The virus transforms its victims into pale-skinned, nocturnal ghouls with an appetite for human blood, more or less making them vampires. The novel follows Robert Neville, seemingly the last human alive, as he tries to survive in a ravaged Los Angeles and study the virus during the daylight hours. The title comes from the novel's famous twist ending.
"I Am Legend" was adapted to film in 1964 as "The Last Man on Earth," and in 1971 as "The Omega Man," before Lawrence's 2007 version. Lawrence's version transposes the action to New York and makes Neville (Will Smith) into a surviving virologist attempting to come up with a cure for the vampire virus.

Mark Wahlberg is often seen without tattoos nowadays, but this wasn’t always the case. The actor’s body used to be marked everywhere with tattoos in his younger years. Wahlberg regretted inking his body as he’d gotten older, and he tried to make sure his kids wouldn’t repeat his mistake.

Wahlberg found out the hard way that removing tattoos is much more painful than getting them. The actor had been inking his body since he was 11-years-old. So when he decided to get rid of them, he had a lot of tattoos to deal with.
“I had, like, eight or nine. They went all the way around my neck, my stomach, my arms, my back, my leg,” Wahlberg once said on The Late, Late Show with James Corden.

He-Man and his musclebound companions will finally return to the big screen in 2026 with Masters Of The Universe.
“I have the power!” was the memorable phrase that He-Man would cry in the 1980s animated TV show, Masters Of The Universe. A hugely popular Mattel line of toys for several years, the series eventually became a 1987 movie starring Dolph Lundgren.
He-Man’s power, it seems, hasn’t helped get a 21st century film about him into production. The long-gestating Masters Of The Universe movie has been in development at Warner Bros, Sony and Netflix in the recent past, with all three studios electing to pull the plug rather than give the green light to what is sure to be an expensive project.
Netflix was the most recent studio to put Masters Of The Universe into turnaround after spending a reported $30m developing it. The studio then couldn’t figure out how...

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 11, Episode 9 of “The Masked Singer,” “Group B Finals: Soundtrack of My Life Night,” which aired May 1 on Fox.
For years, the panelists on “The Masked Singer” have thrown out names like Corey Feldman, Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken while trying to figure out what celebrities were disguised on stage. This week, those names finally became true.
“The Masked Singer” revealed the latest celebrities to be revealed on Wednesday night’s Group B finale, and it was Feldman as the Seal and Studdard/Aiken together as the Beets.
“For about 25 years, there was this kind of dark age where nobody really wanted to admit that my music was a real thing or that it existed or that I was doing it on a full capacity,” Feldman told Variety. “It was kind of overlooked and ignored for a long time.

In July of 2023, Netflix announced that not only had they axed their plans to adapt Mattel's "Masters of the Universe" property into a live-action film, but they were doing so after spending over $30 million in development. Fans had been looking forward to a human He-Man flick since it was first announced in 2007, but the development with Sony Pictures in 2022 seemed like a sure bet. Then it was scrapped, but the project's move to Netflix made sense considering the streamer is home to "He-Man & Masters of the Universe," "Masters of the Universe: Revelation," and "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power." Unfortunately, Netflix dropped the project, which had already cast actor/dancer Kyle Allen to play He-Man/Prince Adam, and Mattel was left looking for a new home for the film. According to a recent report from Variety, that home has been found with Amazon and Travis Knight has been announced as the director.

So we saw the 1st project of the Las Vegas Sphere, which is ‘Postcard from Earth’ directed and filmed by Darren Aronofsky on the Big Sky huge format 316MP18K camera. Defining it as an ‘IMAX on steroids’ would be an understatement.
Behind the scenes of Postcard from Earth. The Big Sky camera Sphere=IMAX on steroids
As fans of the huge canvas (=IMAX!), one of the first things we did when staying in Vegas was to go see the Sphere. YMCinema was among the first that write about this very special medium. Before waiting for a movie on it, we defined it as IMAX on steroids. However, after watching Darren Aronofsky’s Postcard from Earth, we can conclude that this definition is an understatement of this whole insane experience. The Sphere is not just a giant screen, but much more than that. Proportionally, it’s X20 the size of the largest IMAX.

Let’s admit it: Michael Bay’s passion for giant semi-trucks sent from somewhere far away has been well-known since the first Transformers movie. But years later, the director is wheeling to take it 18 steps further, working with famous artist Post Malone to introduce a brand-new IP universe that sounds even more bizarre.
Like, by a far shot more bizarre.
What Are Post Malone and Michael Bay Cooking?
Picture this: your typical Medieval Europe setting, but instead of peaceful peasants, noble rulers, and ambitious warlords, there are hordes of zombies dominating the continent. The only thing standing between human civilization and its complete annihilation by the hands and teeth of the undead is an 18-wheeler truck sent straight from the heavens.
How does that sound?
Post Malone thinks it sounds “badass,” and Michael Bay claims it’s “just what the graphic world needs.” The director and the artist work together...

Hollywood often pushes actors into unusual situations, and Amy Smart also had a similar experience while working on the 2003 film The Battle of Shaker Heights. Sony is the latest player that would like to make an accusation. The studio has won the rights to develop a reimagining of the Hasbro board game “Clue,” and the studio intends to bring the murder mystery game to the screen for both film and television.
Hollywood has been trying to remake “Clue,” first adapted in Jonathan Lynn’s cult classic screwball comedy “Clue” from 1985, for years. Most recently, a project was set up at 20th Century Studios, and it had Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman circling to star along with “The Muppets Movie” filmmaker James Bobin directing. In 2022, Oren Uziel (“The Lost City”) stepped up to rewrite the original draft of the script from Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (“Deadpool”), but it too went nowhere.
No cast or creative talent is attached at this stage of development. Sony is the only studio developing anything based on “Clue” at this time,...

Michael Bay is one of today's most recognizable filmmakers, known for his ability to deliver truly high-octane, spectacular movies with stunning production values. His films are always full of memorable action sequences, expert editing and cinematography, and coupled with big budgets, almost every movie Bay directs becomes a smash hit. This is especially true of the incredibly popular sci-fi franchise based on the Hasbro toy line, Transformers.
Although, after the release of the first film, the next four installments received increasingly negative reviews from critics, it was never about the visual effects. Moreover, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction became some of the highest grossing films of all time, making over $1 billion globally.
These movies also featured enormous budgets, which today only Disney can boast when producing the (often ill-fated) projects for the MCU, but this did not prevent a 'controversy' surrounding the direction of Michael Bay.

An indie action game akin to Max Payne, El Paso, Elsewhere is to become a film, with Lakeith Stanfield in talks to star.
Developed by indie studio Strange Scaffold – headed up by designer Xalavier Nelson Jr – third-person action videogame El Paso, Elsewhere was released to glowing reviews in 2023. Less than a year later, the Max Payne-esque shooter is to be adapted into a movie, it’s been announced.
Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura has picked up the rights to the game though his company – the logically-named Di Bonaventura Pictures – meaning it’ll share a figurative stable with such properties as Transformers and GI Joe.
According to Variety, Lakeith Stanfield – whose latest film, the irreverent comedy The Book Of Clarence, is in UK cinemas now – is to star in the adaptation.
El Paso, Elsewhere is about a vampire hunter named James Savage, whose ex-girlfriend – named Draculae – is rather awkwardly a vampire herself.

He's been back on our screens recently, reuniting with writer/director Jeymes Samuel for Biblical comedy drama The Book Of Clarence, but Lakeith Stanfield has his eye on something quite different. He's now joining forces with Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura to develop and potentially star in a film adaptation of neo-noir vampire video game El Paso, Elsewhere.
The game, developed and published by Strange Scaffold in September last year, has become a success, and takes its inspiration from the Max Payne games, with retro graphics. It follows a vampire hunter tasked with stopping his ex-girlfriend's (a vampire! Sound the irony klaxon!) evil schemes.

The latest Transformers reboot hit theaters last summer and the reviews were a mixed bag. In fact, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts put the franchise back in rotten tomatoes territory. Rise of the Beasts is a massive step up from most of Michael Bay’s films as it isn’t just non-sensical action porn for two-plus hours. However, one lingering issue is that the brand keeps focusing on the wrong set of characters: Humans. Reviewers have made it clear that they’re the weakest link in the latest entry, but it isn’t just an issue that’s plagued the current film. It’s been a

After launching the first Transformers One trailer in space yesterday, Paramount is ready for the robots in disguise to roll out for new character posters. The posters feature the young Autobots (and one eventual Decepticon) standing tall against tranquil cosmic backgrounds. The prints feature Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth), Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry), Elita-1 (Scarlett Johansson), and Bumblebee (Keegan Michael-Key). Looking closely, you’ll notice Optimus, Elita-1, and Bumblebee have blue energy in the eye sockets, while Megatron has a corrupted yellow swirl. With Transformers: Rise of the Beasts failing to hit big last year, the upcoming entry, starring Chris Hemsworth, is taking the franchise back to its roots. Considering the IP initially gained traction following the release of the 1986 animated flick, The Transformers: The Movie, Transformers One is taking a similar approach to its predecessor.
But while excitement regarding the upcoming animated release was high, it’s even higher now, thanks to Paramount launching the first trailer 125000 feet above the Earth.

Paramount has released the first trailer for upcoming animated movie Transformers One. It sent it into space, too.
Well, here’s a first. The trailer for Transformers One has arrived, although quite where it has arrived, nobody really knows. That’s because the livestream for the film’s promo was beamed into space. While it certainly makes for a cool-sounding marketing blitz, we’re hoping that it doesn’t spark a Galaxy Quest-style scenario where aliens turn up on Earth’s doorstep, hoping to find a bunch of animated robots to join their Star War.
Compared to transforming robots, discovering billions of squishy humans instead might be a crushing disappointment and would inexorably lead to our enslavement at the hands of our new galactic overlords.
We’re sure it won’t come to that and even if it does, at least we have a shiny trailer to enjoy ahead...

A while ago now we heard that Warner Bros’ David Zazlav had taken a meeting with the folks at Paramount but...

At this point the Transformers are just as well-known around the multiplex as they are around the toy aisle. How do you feel about this: a wacky buddy comedy starring Optimus Prime and Megatron, in the days before they were enemies? That’s where this goes, and though there are adventure and action elements hinted at in the trailer, this is a comedy through and through. Every scene is punctuated by a “whoa, did That happen?” remark, which isn’t exactly sophisticated humor, but better than what Bay came up with. Seems Optimus wasn’t always as powerful as we know him to be….he started out as Orion Pax, an...
