- Even though there's cartoon violence in the racing game. Nobody in the game actually gets hurt or killed. However Kirby can still fight other rivals while racing for example:
- Kirby can be seen swallowing enemies for abilities.
- Kirby can be seen attacking enemies in a number of ways including swinging the sword, breathing fire, using spikes, spin attack, using a tire, shocking enemies, using tornado attack, freezing enemies.
- Kirby can be seen crashing his hover or wheel vehicle or getting it blown up.
- Kirby can be seen crashing his vehicle into a giant bird if he chooses to do so.
- In the melee arenas Kirby can be seen attacking enemies or his other rivals and even destroys their vehicles and can also be seen falling down.
- Kirby can be seen fighting King Dedede in melee round.
- Meta Knight can be seen attacking his enemies with the sword while racing.
- King Dedede can be seen attacking his enemies with his mallet while racing.
- The meteor showers in city trail can be seen and can destroy Kirby's vehicle if it gets too close.

- In city trial if the overdrive event occurs, Kirby's star gliders and wheel vehicles can drive very fast it can get very intense.
- In melee battle event can also get intense.
- The meteor shower event, giant bird event, foggy scenes can get intense.
- The drag race scenes can get very fast and intense.
