Robert Brenner's badly mutilated corpse is found in his own taxi. The Brenner home proves the site of another crime, entered with his own missing, apparently stolen house key. No valuables seem stole, but in a cozy room the police finds bound-up Tanja Malewski, at first sight caught by an intruder. The teen brat ran away from her Bavarian home months ago and stays silent, apparently traumatized. The neighbor however never saw her or any girl in presumably single Brenner's home. Only a third party can make the plot fit, combining two plots in fact.

His corsage fits Patrick and Jana Kronmöller's wedding aboard an old party yacht the previous evening, yet the families claim not to know him, including bride's mother Sandra Bosse. His suit label says Paul Schneider, emigrated to Chile, dental records Frank Heeg, declared dead after a presumed fatal boat accident twenty years ago. His then business partner Benno Thiel couldn't pay their debts and closed down their yacht wharf, now working as window cleaner, his detergent was found on the corpse. Sandra Bosse is shown on the wedding video as knowing Frank Heeg and possibly aware of his faked death.
