I was there. I remember pulling off I-15 at midnight only to see a sea of cars trying to get to the parking lot. The feeder roads became parking lots and we partied till dawn when we finally got into the speedway.
Some of the musical highlights: Aerosmith,Heart, and Santana.I didn't see any fights and the ladies were fun and on my shoulders! Furthewrmore, Dave Mason was choice.Ted Nugent went crazy and climbed on top of the speakers. Foreigner: I loved the song "Star Rider and "Cold as ice" came at sunset in waves. Tequila was shared by our neighbors who came for Santana.I was 19 yrs old and on top o'the world !!! Stevie Nicks also made an appearance. She's hot. Ask anyone... Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush made the evening hours lovely until we couldn't find our car. Until sunrise when we woke to find we were only 50 feet from it. Much fun stealing a bonfire from some swabbobulars..
