Sex & Nudity

- The show "Mature Themes" are mostly of a sexual nature and most occur offscreen. These themes include affairs, rape, and incest.
- There are no sex scenes and no clearly defined nudity.
- The carnival in the early episodes is suppossed to end with everyone going home to have sex with someone of the opposite gender. The main character meets someone, but they are interrupted.
- There are implied, but never seen affairs.
- The strongest sexual content is one scene which features a four to five second shot in which a woman is masturbating.
Violence & Gore

- Swordfights are had, some with bloody results. One fight inparticular ends in a lot of blood.
- There are a couple of shootings, but none of them are graphic. The nature behind some of them is disturbing, as some character's sanity unravel of episodes progress.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- One episode features a scene in which a man has a chance to escape the guillotine, and it is a pretty intense scene as it sets a tense tone for the show.
- The theme of the show is of one man's revenge against several prominent figures in high society.
- Many of the character's back stories are very intense and sad.
