It is somewhat vague in treatment

There is quite a novel conception in this satire on the prevailing tango mania. It is somewhat vague in treatment and succeeds only in being moderately entertaining. Some of the scenes are taken in a Palais de Dance and are artistic and pleasing from the standpoint of settings and costumes. With more plot this would have held the interest to better advantage. - The Moving Picture World, May 9, 1914
