So This Is Christmas - with JLC
james19871064 January 2009
The best of the Bring Back programmes so far, Justin Lee Collins sets out here to bring back some of the singers and hit makers of Christmas songs from years gone by. After lots of hunting high and low for stars to take part he finally gets a great line up for the end of the show. You have to love Justin's enthusiastic attempt to record a new Christmas song for the 21st century. The enthusiasm brought to the proceedings by Justin, one of the best new comedy talents in the UK and from my current neck of the woods too - Bristol - is palpable and as such he is a great entertainer. There's lots of fun to be had with this fun programme in this series. Rock on!

Bring Back the Christmas Number One
jboothmillard10 January 2006
This short documentary was both fun with the presenter/host Justin Lee Collins who I loved from Flipside TV and FAQ U. But it was also a bit of a serious programme because Britian hasn't had a decent Christmas number one for ages. Basically Justin is hoping to find many artists who created great number ones, and put them together to create a new Christmas hit that'll hopefully go to number one, unless we'd prefer The Crazy Frog singing a crap version of Jingle Bells. With David Essex, Dave Hill, Aled Jones, Liz Mitchell, Dave Mount and Don Powell. A very good short show, I would love to see the song they created become a number one at Christmas. Shayne Ward's winning X Factor song was number one in 2005, the song in this programme wasn't in the list, but there's always next time. It was definitely worth watching!
