Here is a bright little film story of an improbable but interesting character. The managing editor is badly in need of a scoop for his paper, and the girl reporter accomplishes this by getting a flashlight photograph of one man in the act of bribing another. The audience will smile at the absurdity of this, but the film is enjoyable. - The Moving Picture World, April 26, 1913
