I seriously miss this comedy, still, and for episodes such as this, as much as I love Not going out and My Family, they'd have never done anything so bold and heavy handed as this, the show was only in its second series, still in its infancy as it were, but it's just so good, it works.
I love how Bill had such an issue with 'Thatcher,' she absolutely lets rip here, I think it's how many people were feeling about her in 1992. I can only imagine what she'd make of the current lot.
Lots of great moments aside from Bill's rant, there's the sleeping Doctor, Rona's bus journey with Bernard (you'll need to be a Blackadder fan for that one,) and of course Rona's wish.
The scenes between all of the regular cast are just wonderful, I'm not sure how they got on, but all I see is warmth, it's all so sincere.
They certainly nailed it, they really don't make them like they used to, 10/10.
