The Rebellious Rose
muleriderfan15 January 2008
"The Rebellious Rose" was my favorite episode. I was about 11 when the show was on, and I can only remember that Rose Greenhow, played by Nina Foch, who was a real-life confederate spy/Washington hostess was being stalked by Martin Gabel, to whom Ms. Foch was actually married. I think Gabel's character was maybe a Pinkerton detective, but can't remember for sure. Would love to get a copy of the episode, as well as the John Brown/Harpers Ferry episode, which was probably the first one. I went to the "unlimited.org" website suggested but couldn't make hide nor hair out of it as far as locating The Americans. BTW, just saw Daryl Hickman on American Movie Classics with other child stars. Can this show be why there has been the 19% increase in the series lately?
