Mr Grace has had an idea to try and boost sales, the herd instinct, to make a member of the staff pose as a customer and compliment the goods. Meanwhile Mrs Slocombe enters into parenthood.
It's a classic episode, with some terrific scenes and slick one liners. I felt the show started to go a little off the boil in the middle and later years, but Series five starts off with a classic.
The scene where Mrs Slocombe explains her happy news to Miss Brahms is a terrific scene, the look on the men's faces, an absolute joy. Some of the one liners are terrific, when Captain Peacock says to Miss Brahms you're supposed to be buying not selling.
Mr Grace's lesson on salesmanship is a delight, such a funny man, he was terrific in the part.
Classic. 9/10
