A very good episode, but how can Sheridan be THAT stupid?!
planktonrules26 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
This is a very exciting episode that works very well except that there is one glaring problem. Since Garibaldi's kidnapping, it's been obvious to every audience member that he's been brainwashed to do evil as well as hate Sheridan. But no one seems to notice the extent of this and they keep clinging to the crazy delusion that it's some sort of phase he's going through! So, to the audience it seems like a really STUPID thing when Garibaldi is asked by his new employer to help him to capture Sheridan and hand him over to Earth Force security. Now you are probably thinking "no one in their right mind would fall for the ruse!"--but in the following episode, he DOES! That's the big problem with these two episodes and I hate it when normally clear-thinking and reasonable people do uncharacteristically dumb things.

Apart from this big plot hole, the rest of the show concerns Franklin being ordered to make the captured telepaths operational for an upcoming attack on Earth. How, exactly, this will help is unknown and whatever the intent, it's obvious Franklin is NOT thrilled with the plan but considers it a necessary and expedient move. Unlike the Garibaldi plot, this one is more satisfying and well written.
