I am such a fan of this show that i've literally seen each episode countless times (it would seem!)
Anyway, although this episode is a little reminiscent of Stanwyck's "Remember the Night" - it makes for good viewing.
It's Christmastime and Jarrod brings home a wildcat (Lynn Loring), whose boyfriend/lover is a notorious outlaw.
The playing may be a bit obvious and even corny in certain scenes, but the theme is carried off nicely.
And there is the obligatory happy ending.
Like the gal who plays the wildcat, many guest-stars on "The Big Valley" never made the 'big time'
