Eddie isn't happy at being partnered up with Reg, he's even less impressed with his traditional policing methods.
Very good, a really good watch this, it did two things well, it gave us a very sad, but meaningful story, we get to see how bad the state of mental health care was back then (and still is,) and it sets the ground running with Eddie Santini, he's pushing the boundaries somewhat here. The mayhem he would go on to cause.
I thought the story was a really good one, the conclusion was an unexpected moment.
I always really enjoyed seeing the lovely Jean Heywood on screen, she played the part of Mrs Love very well, a character pushed to breaking point.
