This is definitely an attention grabbing episode, at this stage the show is really going through another of those purple patches, this one definitely felt relative, it was tense and definitely well made.
Despite the serious nature, there are one or two lighter moments, a few chuckles, the woman rattling on about her negligee being next to the boiler, funny.
Eddie is once again a proper job's comforter here, everything he says to Reg is so passive aggressive, he's at the height of his twisted antics here.
Brownlow is infuriating here, there's so much needle between him and Conway here, you will totally see it from Derek's point of view, there's nothing worse than having a boss that hasn't got a clue, no wonder he was frustrated.
