Such an original story here.

Ted Roach is tied up in all sorts of legal wranglings at court, where burglar Mr Franey is on trial. Garfield and Quinnan encounter a man who's walking along the road with a very vacant look on his face, almost stepping in front of a car.

It's becoming a little predictable now to see Ted Roach in trouble, almost every single case he's involved with now is almost dubious. The court room scenes were good, but nothing new to see here.

The story of the wandering man with the sick wife is fascinating, I can't recall seeing anything like this on the show before, it's all so curious, but it's a satisfying story. Had there been a euthanasia story on the show before?

Two superb guest characters, Patton and Rose, I thought both were awesome.

If you get chance check out the artwork of actor Steve Shill, who plays Patton, it will trigger memories.

Once again we see Burnside come up against Mr Rule book, Inspector Monroe.

I'm not sure how much longer Ted is going to be on the show for, all I know is I will be gutted when he's no longer here, he's just wonderful.

Very original, hugely moving, 9/10.
