Ray Blakey is our of prison, he's keen to take revenge on whoever it was that put him away, he kidnaps John Boulton to get the information he needs.
Loved this episode, great story, great cast, I think it works particularly well because it's Boulton who's in trouble, he's not exactly a character you'd think of as being vulnerable. It's a really well written story, with some particularly good dialogue.
It poses a very interesting question, what happens if someone has been arrested and sent down, and decides that they want revenge upon their release.
Grant Masters I thought was fantastic as Blakey, he made him nasty, a little dangerous and sincere, without overdoing it, be could very easily have played him like a cartoon villain. He really does add a degree of menace.
