Not sure what the title means...

Two men fighting for Nora's affections? Okay, make that FOUR men! Not only are Gib and Clay trying to win her over, but in this episode we now have two more men. Obviously, the single women in Latigo are few and far between! Oh wait! Did I mention that one of the men were MARRIED???

Only two more episode left, and Nora is no closer to getting married than she was in the first episode. But let's put that aside for a moment and get to the jest of things: A woman is dead and before she died, she accused her husband of poisoning her. Regardless of the fact that Park Forrest (played by character actor bad guy, John Dehner) is one of Marshal Gibbs best friends, he has to let the doctor do an autopsy. The results shock him and force him to take drastic measures.

The end has a twist to it, but it's a twist you can see pretty much from the beginning. Still, though, it was nice seeing...Oops, I can't say anymore!

A Case of Slow
Prismark1015 October 2023
It is good to know that someone else in town might have taken a shine to Nora Travers. Park Forrest has fallen in love with her but he is already married.

However his wife Mary is seriously ill and claims that her husband Park has poisoned her. A drunk Park Forrest manages to evade arrest aided by his nephew Andy Forrest.

Once arrested, Clay Culhane tells Park that his future prospects are in the hand of the jury. Clay does not seem to be entirely convinced by Park's version of events.

This is a story where Clay Culhane actually goes to trial. It does hold little surprises. If Park has not killed his wife, then there can only be one other suspect.
