Does Cory have a future?
callanvass7 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Cory finds history boring, Feeny gives their class an assignment to elaborate on where they think they will be in twenty years for a bit of a pre-reunion. Shawn is fat, Topanga is a toga woman, and Cory is the Center Fielder for the Phillies. Cory fails to cajole Feeny and gets an I for incomplete, devastating Cory to the point of depression. Preparing for your future is always a good thing, but you should make sure to take care of the present as well. Only you can make your future. History was my favorite subject in school. As always in this series, it combines life ethics with wonderful humor. We get some hilarious things. Minkus hitting on Topanga is amusing. The most memorable thing about this episode is Jim Abbot's appearance. He can't act worth a lick, but he doesn't need to. His appearance serves as a pivotal reminder that dreams can come true, no matter how far fetched it may seem. Shawn, Topanga, and Eric don't have much to do in this one, Topanga was still in her "weird" phase. It's a very good episode

Additional Notes

I laughed that Cory dialed random numbers in Saskatchewan just to hear a Canadian accent. I'm a Canadian myself, so I got a kick out of that

Stay tuned for the end credits for some classic Cory shenanigans
