A well rounded show.

In this episode, Bill Jr comes to the aid of a man accused of killing a Sheriff in a nearby town. But it is not going to be easy. The man, Tom Bishop, use to ride with Jesse James and that is going to be hard to prove that Bishop has turned away from a life of crime.

Bishop, along with his son Bobby, ran from the law when they were falsely accused of killing the sheriff. With help from Bill Jr and Judge Wiley, they have a plan where they may be able to prove that the charges are false. But when two lawmen come to arrest Bishop, the plan has to work quickly in order to prove Bishop is innocent.

This was one of the better stories and kept the interest alert the entire running of the show. Sometime the series tends to be too candy-coated but this episode proved that everything can work well when you have a nice script and fine acting. James Griffith plays his usual rough character to perfection and the fine acting stands out from the lot. Was pleasantly surprised with the results. Good watch.
