This was a hoot, thanks to Sybil Bowan who played "Pretzel Mary," a very eccentric old woman. She is hilarious in here.
Mary looks and acts like a homeless person trying to see pretzels for three cents a pop in Central Park. She lives in a shack nearby. What people don't know is that she's a millionaire and has all the money stuffed into her dilapidated furniture.
Good-hearted Toody and Muldoon think they can help her, and put her in a better place with new furniture, and surprise her by doing it behind her back. Oh, oh.....that's when you-know-what hits the fan! The rest of it keeps getting loonier and funnier as the cops keep unintentionally messing up. It's a wonder "Pretzel Mary" didn't have a heart attack through all of it.
This is "classic" episode in this series, in my humble opinion.
